Inclusive Cheer - Fill My Cheer Gear
A little behind-the-scenes of Wildcat Inclusive Cheer
Last season, we spent around $9,400 on things like uniforms, poms, practice shirts, choreography, music, pre-game meals, competition bags, snacks, celebrations, theme wear, and incentives for our athletes. A lot of the little extras are also covered out of pocket by our parents and coaches because we want our athletes to have an experience that feels just like any other sports team!!With that being said, our program is not funded by Lexington High School. We operate primarily through donations, fundraising, and contributions from our families and community. We have been fortunate to receive a couple of grants from Special Olympics SC/Area 7, which we are incredibly grateful for, but those grants do not cover the ongoing costs of our program. That brings us to our current Fill My Cheer Gear Fundraiser!
Our goal is to BLACK OUT THE ENTIRE MEGAPHONE & POM! You can choose any amount you’d like to contribute and send cash or a check made payable to LHS. We will be highlight some of our athletes over the next couple of months that your donations directly impact. Thank you for partnering with us to make the world a little more inclusive!
